The experience

How the month works

A new video prompt every four days

Karam introduces each one with a short video, then you have four days to notice, shoot, write, edit, share, and see what everyone else made before the next one arrives.

The space between prompts is part of the challenge.

A couple from last time:

The kind of evening you want to keep.
The kind of evening you want to keep.

The Art of Noticing.

Pay closer attention to something you normally walk straight past.

A coffee. A friend. A very good dog.
A coffee. A friend. A very good dog.

Someone You Love.

Find a story about a person who matters to you, and tell it.

There is no one correct way to document your life. Try something. See what feels like you.

Create with people
who get it.

You will be part of the full cohort, with creative people joining from around the world.

You’ll be placed into a small accountability group, matched as closely as possible by timezone.

That is where you share the rough version.

Ask for feedback.

Talk through an idea.

Celebrate when someone finally posts.

Get gently called out when you disappear for a week.

You leave knowing how to tell the story behind what you care about. And how to keep doing it after the challenge ends.

Little notes from the community

Rebecca Appleton: i love how creative energy from this can feed into other art forms!! i’ve found with the filming inspiring creative energy for writing !!
Lindsay Alley: I would love to do some prompt swapping after this is over to keep the inspiration going! We could write some to share with each other
Sara: And Karam and Stefano, you definitely set the tone for the rest of us to blossom in this space of love and authenticity - thank you for that!!!

For the past seven years, I’ve been documenting my life. Big moments, small moments, and everything in between.

What started as a personal habit slowly became my creative practice, my way of telling stories, and eventually a community of 300K+ people.

I’ve collaborated with brands like Gore-Tex and Peak Design, hosted storytelling events around the world, and spent years figuring out how to create in a way that still feels like me.

Now I want to help you do the same. Not copy my style, but build your own way of noticing, filming, writing, and sharing.

Questions ❓

Is this only for people who want to become content creators?

Not at all.

This is for people making something they care about who want to get better at telling the story around it.

You might be building a company, making art, designing clothes, writing, filming, cooking, making music, or working on a strange little project you cannot stop thinking about.

You do not need to become an influencer. You just need something you care enough about to share.

What actually happens inside the community?

You will be part of the full cohort, with creative people joining from around the world.

Inside that, you will also be placed in a smaller accountability group, matched as closely as possible by timezone.

That is where you can share rough ideas, ask for feedback, celebrate when someone finally posts, and get gently called out when you disappear for a week :)

The goal is not just accountability. We want you to leave with a few creative people you genuinely want to stay in touch with.

Do I need any special equipment or editing experience?

Nope. Your phone is enough. You don’t need a fancy camera, microphone, or professional setup. Basic editing experience helps, but it’s absolutely not required.

We’ll share simple tools, resources, and guidance to get you started.

What if I hate being on camera?

You’re very welcome here. Some prompts will gently push you towards the camera, but documenting your life doesn’t mean becoming a talking head.

You’ll experiment with voiceover, interviews, filming from behind the camera, scripting, spontaneous storytelling, and other approaches to discover what feels like you.

How much time will this take? What if I fall behind?

Some stories might take a couple of hours. Others might come together much faster. The point is not to spend your life making content. It’s to build a creative practice that fits into your actual life.

Life will happen. Missing a prompt doesn’t mean you’ve failed or need to quit. Jump back in with the next one.

Do I have to post my videos publicly?

No. You can share your work inside the community first, and you decide what goes onto the internet.

Will this help me grow on social media?

That’s part of what we’ll explore, but we’re not promising you a follower number.

We’ll help you become better at noticing stories, telling them, sharing consistently, and making work people actually want to spend time with.

What if the price is out of reach?

If money is genuinely the thing stopping you, write to us. We keep a few places for people from countries where the price is a different number than it is here. No forms, no proving anything.

When are the live masterclasses? What if I can’t attend live?

We will share the exact schedule before the challenge begins.

There will be four live masterclasses with Karam across the month, covering things like storytelling, scriptwriting, creative process, and building a sustainable way of creating.

If you cannot make one live, no stress. Every masterclass will be recorded, so you can catch up afterwards.
